Columbus Blue Jackets head coach, John Tortorella is taking a lot of heat lately for how he’s handled his team. Torts has benched both Max Domi and Pierre-Luc Dubois, which recently for Dubois was basically two full periods.
And while some question whether Tortorella deserves the heat considering everyone saw how bad Dubois was on the shift before his benching, others have come to the defense of the players.
This time it was Marian Gaborik. An NHL-alum who played three and a half seasons with the New York Rangers and was coached by Tortorella.
Gaborik knows exactly what Dubois is going through and has a point here:
